Mineral activities are formed by a wide range of mineral exploration, excavation, enrichment, transportation and sales. The contribution of mineral activities to the nations’ wealth and the sustainable development is more and more globally important. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has huge impacts worldwide on every sector and the mining industry is not an exception. Mining companies have to adjust their production to deal with the pandemic, protecting their labor force’s physical and mental health, sustaining and developing in the “New normal”. The acceptance of society and campaigns to prevent climate change are challenges to the mining industry in emerging countries.
To put a puzzle into that entire picture of management in mineral activities, the sixth International Conference on Economic Management in Mineral Activities EMMA (EMMA 6) will be organized at Hanoi University of Mining and Geology in 2022, expecting to attract international academicians and researchers from many countries. During EMMA conferences which is first held in 2013 we have had excellent opportunities to connect distinguished guests and participants from Australia, Brazil, Germany, India, Laos, Myanmar, Peru, Russia, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam.
EMMA 6 will be a hybrid conference (virtual and in-person) held on March 28-29, 2022. The Organizing Committee of the EMMA 6 is honored to invite you to participate and contribute to the success of this remarkable event. We do hope that the EMMA 6 can create a forum for scientists, specialists and managers from Vietnam and other countries to exchange ideas and present latest research outcomes.
